Our primary vocation is the continuous search for a balance between the use of natural products and the application of old cultivation techniques that have led us, after many years, to a production model that we have called "VITA NOSTRA". Thanks to the non-intensive vineyard and the Sylvoz farming, our rows enjoy a greater irradiation of the sun and greater air circulation; the well-being of our land is reflected in the final product and is part of our company philosophy.

THE PRACTICE OF SOVESCIO

The secret to luxuriant vines and good wine is contained in the green manure technique, which can bring numerous benefits to the soil including nutrient balance, structural improvement and increased fertility; practiced through the autumn sowing and the spring mowing of multiple plant essences carefully chosen according to the needs of the soil and plants.

NATURAL TREATMENT

Spraying of bacteria in the soil: it is a biostimulant of microorganisms useful for the soil and the vine; this procedure allows for an improvement of the environment and the soil, allowing the restoration of microbiological biodiversity.
Increasing use of plant protection products based on plant substances such as algae, aloe and propolis, thanks to which the plant is strengthened against diseases with a gradual decrease in chemicals.

LAND CARE

We take care of our land using organic fertilizer able to nourish the plant in a natural way, bringing natural organic substances to the soil and promoting micro forms of life.

The grinding of the shoots and grass in the vineyard contributes to the formation of natural organic fertilizer.

CARE OF THE VINEYARD

The pruning of the plants takes place respecting the phases of the moon, while the mowing of the grass under the vine is done without the use of herbicides.

Defoliation is a practice that takes place in the period preceding the harvest to air and indirectly expose the grapes to the sun in order to cause an increase in sugars and color.

THE TIME OF COLLECTION

The rite of grape harvesting is carried out strictly by hand, in order to select the bunches and determine their degree of ripeness.
Today the harvest process maintains the same spirit of the past: a party that concludes the tiring weeks of work, made up of stories and toasts to the wine to come.

BEEKEEPING

Bees carry out an irreplaceable job, carrying out pollen to favor fertilization and thus the formation of fruits and flowers. For this reason we have decided to adopt sustainable agricultural practices by creating a small vine-bee-vineyard ecosystem, thus contributing to the protection of our agricultural landscape.
